Better Instructors

Every single instructor working for SwimZone is a currently competitive swimmer with years of swimming and teaching experience. When describing our instructors, we use the term "national level" a lot, so let's break down what that really means here.

USA Swimming

The main governing body of competitive swimming in the United States. In the United States, the "national level" of competitive swimming can be broken down into three distinct swim meets: Sectionals, Futures, and Nationals. A meet is considered a national level meet if it is hosted and sponsored by USA Swimming, not an individual club or high school team.

Sectionals

The first level of national competition in USA Swimming. A Sectional meet can be compared to a state level swim meet, with Sectionals representing the top 5% of swimmers worldwide. SwimZone is proud to have four instructors who have qualified and competed at the Sectional level.

Futures

One step up from Sectionals. Futures can be thought of as a regional level swim meet, with Futures representing the top 3% of swimmers worldwide. SwimZone is proud to have two instructors who have qualified and competed at the Futures level.

Junior. Nationals

The highest level of USA Swimming. Junior Nationals is a swim meet for the entirety of the USA, representing the top 1% of swimmers worldwide. SwimZone has not had any instructors qualify for this meet, but we hope to see some soon!
